The Kel-Tec RDB Defender is a downward-ejecting 5.56/.223 bullpup rifle built around an adjustable short-stroke gas system and rotary bolt. The Defender configuration features an aluminum M-LOK forend, a single-position collapsible stock and accepts AR-15 (STANAG) magazines (20+ capacity).
The rifle ships with integral MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails above the barrel and on the handguard for optics and accessory mounting. The Defender is offered in Coyote Tan finish and is manufactured in the USA. Unloaded weight and dimensional specs are published by the manufacturer.
