The HK G36 .22 LR is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle built to mirror the form and controls of the G36 platform. It uses polymer receivers, an adjustable folding buttstock, and ambidextrous controls to offer the same ergonomics as the full-size G36.
Chambered in .22 LR and manufactured in Germany, the rifle ships with a Picatinny optics rail and adjustable rear sight (windage and elevation). The rimfire G36 accepts 10- or 20-round magazines; the 18.125 in rifle configuration is offered in a 10-round variant.
Designed for range use and training, the rifle is a purpose built rimfire trainer/entertainer with low recoil and compatibility with many G36-pattern accessories.
