Daniel Defense M4A1 finished in Flat Dark Earth with the SOCOM-derived M4A1 RIS II quad rail. The rifle ships with a 14.5" M4-profile, 1:7 twist barrel and a Daniel Defense extended flash suppressor that is pinned and welded to meet 16" overall length requirements. The M4A1 is chambered in 5.56 NATO and uses a carbine-length gas system.
The M4A1 features a free-floating M4A1 RIS II handguard, forged 7075-T6 receiver components, and Daniel Defense furniture. Listed overall length ranges from approximately 31.5" to 34.75" and an unloaded weight around 6.74 lbs. This configuration is supplied without iron sights.
