This Italian Breda Meccanica Romana M1D is a rare post-war sniper variant of the iconic M1 Garand, chambered in 7.62x51 NATO. It features the M1D-specific offset sniper scope mount along with the correct M84 scope and cheek riser, indicating a complete sniper configuration. This rifle retains its classic hardwood stock and parkerized metal finish, making it both highly collectible and functional. The rifle is in used but well-maintained condition and shows typical wear from careful storage and handling. Mostly BMB Italian marked parts.  Bore is excellent and measures just over a 1 using a CMP gauge.  M84 scope has matching numbers on the scope and scope mount, and has one speck on the glass (see picture).  Comes with original storage crate, making this ideal for military sniper collectors or historical shooting enthusiasts.  Import marked.
