The Ruger American Rimfire Model 8335 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 WMR with an 18 in barrel and a satin blued finish. It ships with an ergonomic OD green synthetic stock, a detachable flush-mounted JMX-1 9-round rotary magazine (accepts BX-15® Magnum magazines), an adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger, and a factory-installed one-piece aluminum scope rail.
The rifle features Ruger's Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system, a visible tang safety, a cold hammer-forged threaded barrel with factory thread protector (1/2"-28), sling swivel studs, and a 60° bolt throw with a receiver-mounted bolt release for easy bolt removal.
