This is a Yugoslavian Zastava M48, a post-WWII bolt-action rifle based on the German K98k Mauser design. Chambered in 7.92×57mm Mauser, it features a robust military-style wood stock and a straight bolt handle. The receiver bears the crest of the former Yugoslavia and a clear 'M48' marking. Known for reliability and accuracy, the M48 is highly regarded among surplus rifle collectors. This specimen appears in unissued condition and appears it has all matching numbers including those on the receiver, bolt, stock, and floor plate.  Includes sling, bayonet, cleaning kit, ammo pouch, and literature.  Import marked.
