The Winchester XPR is a modern bolt-action hunting rifle built on a chromoly steel receiver with a free-floated, button-rifled barrel and an advanced polymer stock. The receiver is drilled and tapped for secure scope mounting and the rifle uses a detachable single-stack box magazine. XPR rifles use Winchester's INFLEX recoil pad and a two-position safety for simple, reliable operation.
Winchester offers Extreme/MB variants of the XPR with fluted barrels, Cerakote/Tungsten finishes and a 9/16"-24 threaded muzzle fitted with a radial-style muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil. Several camo and finish options (including TrueTimber Midnight and Mossy Oak Bottomland on Extreme/MB models) are offered as factory configurations.
