The Winchester XPR Extreme Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle built on the XPR platform and finished for serious field use. The barrel and receiver are finished in a Tungsten Cerakote and the fluted, button-rifled barrel is free-floated; many Extreme Hunter models ship with a 9/16"-24 threaded muzzle fitted with a radial-style muzzle brake.
The rifle uses a rigid composite stock finished in TrueTimber Midnight camouflage and includes sling swivel studs and an Inflex™ recoil pad. The action features Winchester’s M.O.A. trigger system, a two-position thumb safety with a bolt-unlock button, and a detachable box magazine; the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
