Manufacturer Description
The Winchester XPR is a bolt-action hunting rifle built around Winchester’s M.O.A. trigger system with a crisp factory set break. Every XPR features a two-position thumb safety, a bolt release that allows cycling unfired cartridges while on safe, and a cocking indicator on the bolt shroud for tactile and visual status.
The action and barrel assembly are precision engineered: the receiver is machined from chrome-moly steel bar stock, the barrel is button-rifled, thermally stress relieved and free-floated with a barrel-nut assembly for consistent headspacing. The rifle feeds from a detachable single-stack polymer box magazine and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
The XPR is offered with an advanced polymer stock featuring textured panels on the grip and fore-end for improved wet-weather purchase, plus INFLEX recoil-pad technology to help manage felt recoil.
