The Winchester Model 70 Sporter in .264 Winchester Magnum is a classic bolt-action hunting rifle built on the Model 70 platform. Factory specifications list a 26" cold-hammer-forged barrel, a 3-round internal magazine and a satin-finish Grade I walnut stock with sculpted cheekpiece and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
The Sporter is fitted with Winchester's M.O.A. trigger system, a three-position safety, and is drilled & tapped for scope mounts. Nominal weight and overall length are listed by the manufacturer and it is marketed as a traditional hunting/sporting bolt-action rifle.
