The Model 70 Ultimate Shadow features a lightweight, all-weather synthetic stock with gray overmolded rubberized gripping surfaces for secure control in adverse conditions. The rifle uses a forged steel receiver with an integral recoil lug that is bedded front and rear and a sporter-weight, free-floating barrel with a recessed target crown for improved accuracy.
Designed for reliability and accuracy, the Ultimate Shadow employs pre-'64 style controlled-round feed with a claw extractor, a blade-type ejector, and an M.O.A. trigger system. Additional features include a one-piece alloy bottom metal with steel floorplate, a three-position safety, and a WinSorb recoil pad tailored for the Shadow stock.
