Winchester Model 70 Alaskan M70 30-06 Spfld 25"

The Winchester Model 70 Alaskan is a controlled-round-feed bolt-action rifle built for big-game hunting. It features a satin-finish Monte Carlo walnut stock with cut checkering and polished metal surfaces. The rifle ships with open sights — an adjustable folding rear sight on the barrel boss and a hooded gold-bead front sight — while the receiver includes an integral recoil lug and one-piece alloy bottom metal. The action is a forged-steel receiver with pre-'64 style controlled round feed and a claw extractor, paired with a cold hammer-forged, free-floating 25in barrel and an M.O.A. trigger system. The stock uses a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad for improved felt-recoil management.
