The Model 2020 Waypoint is a premium American-made bolt-action hunting rifle built on Springfield Armory's Model 2020 action. This 6.5 Creedmoor Waypoint features a 22" carbon-fiber-sleeved barrel (1:8) finished in Graphite Black Cerakote H-146 and a hand-laid carbon fiber hybrid stock hand-painted in Ridgeline camo. The rifle ships with an SA Radial muzzle brake (thread protector included) and an AICS-pattern 5-round detachable magazine.
Accuracy and shooter interface are supported by a TriggerTech adjustable trigger (2.5–5 lb), a Picatinny optic mounting interface (Remington 700 SA pattern), a fluted 4140 nitride bolt, M-LOK slots in the forend, and five QD sling mounts. Springfield guarantees .75 MOA performance and lists a factory weight of 6 lbs 12 oz and overall length of 43.5" for this configuration.
