The Model 2020 Waypoint is Springfield Armory’s modern bolt-action precision rifle platform built around a US-made Model 2020 action and pillar-bedded, 100% carbon-fiber hybrid stock hand-laid by AG Composites. Waypoints are offered with hand-painted Ridgeline or Evergreen camo finishes and feature M-LOK® attachment points, QD sling cups and a raised comb option on select configurations.
Waypoints ship with a Picatinny optics rail (Remington 700 pattern) and feed from AICS-pattern detachable box magazines. The rifles use a TriggerTech adjustable field trigger (user adjustable ~2.5–5.0 lb) and are offered with either free-floated carbon-fiber-sleeved barrels or fluted stainless barrels. Springfield backs the Model 2020 family with a .75 MOA three-shot accuracy guarantee when fired with quality match ammunition.
