U.S.A." and "SAVAGE SPORTER", along with patent dates of "NOV. 28, 1905 SEP. 7, 1915 SEP. 4, 1917 NOV. 20, 1917. The receiver bears serial number

"82271" and the caliber "32-20". A "FIRE" indicator is visible on the safety lever. The detachable box magazine is marked "SAVAGE SPORTER" and "25-20 OR 32-20", indicating its compatibility. The butt plate features a faint, circular Savage Indian head logo. 24 1/2" Barrel.
