The Axis XP Compact is a compact configuration of Savage's Axis XP series sized for smaller-framed shooters. It ships with a factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope and features a synthetic stock, detachable box magazine, and a button-rifled carbon steel barrel.
This Compact model (SKU 32028) is chambered in .350 Legend with an 18in (45.7 cm) barrel, a 4-round detachable magazine and an overall weight of 7 lbs (3.2 kg). The rifle uses a smooth bolt action and thread-in barrel headspacing for consistent headspace and accuracy.
