The Savage Axis XP .308 Win is a bolt-action hunting rifle built with a synthetic black sporter stock and a 22 in button-rifled carbon-steel barrel. The factory package is supplied with a mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope and a detachable 4-round box magazine.
The AXIS XP features an updated ergonomic stock and pistol grip, an enhanced bolt-handle design, precision button-rifled barrels and thread-in barrel headspacing for out-of-the-box accuracy. Typical overall length is 42.5 in and the rifle ships at approximately 7.6 lb.
