The Savage Impulse Hog Hunter is a factory straight-pull hunting rifle built on Savage's Impulse platform. It features a matte black aluminum receiver, a carbon-steel medium-contour threaded barrel (5/8-24"), and an OD Green synthetic AccuStock with AccuFit adjustment. The action uses a round-knob straight-pull bolt and a flush-fit detachable box magazine (4-round).
The receiver includes an integral 1-piece 20 MOA Picatinny rail machined into the receiver for optic mounting. The rifle is purpose-designed for fast follow-up shots and hog/pest control, offered in a compact 20" barrel configuration for the 30-06 Springfield SKU.
