The Savage Axis II XP Hardwood is a bolt-action hunting rifle packaged with a factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope. It features a blued/button-rifled 22 in carbon steel sporter barrel and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger (2.5–6 lb) for out-of-the-box accuracy. Built on a hardwood stock with recessed sling studs, the Axis II XP uses a four-round detachable box magazine and ships with a matte black carbon-steel finish on the barreled action.
