The Axis 2 is a redesigned bolt-action hunting rifle with an ergonomic synthetic stock and enhanced texturing for improved handling. It features a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, an enhanced bolt design and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger for improved out-of-the-box accuracy. The rifle ships with a detachable box magazine and thread-in headspacing. This configuration is the right-hand 30-06 Springfield with a 22in barrel, matte black carbon-steel finish and a gray synthetic stock; listed factory weight is 6.6 lbs.
