The Savage Target Thumbhole is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for the .17 Winchester Super Magnum. It ships with an adjustable AccuTrigger, a 22 in. heavy stainless barrel with a target crown, and a gray laminated thumbhole stock. The action uses rear locking lugs and a cock-on-close bolt designed for the higher-pressure .17 WSM cartridge. The rifle feeds from an 8-round center-feed rotary magazine and is supplied without iron sights; the receiver is drilled/tapped and equipped with Weaver-style bases for optics. Other factory features include a soft rubber butt pad and a laminated stock finish suited to target/varmint use.
