The Savage Axis 2 Pro Forest SP Camo is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle finished in Forest SP camouflage with Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote metal surfaces. The Forest SP models feature spiral-fluted, carbon-steel barrels and a threaded, heavy-sporter contour for attachable muzzle devices. The receiver is Cerakoted and comes topped with a one-piece, 0-MOA Picatinny rail for optics. Factory features include a redesigned ergonomic synthetic stock with enhanced texturing and ambidextrous palm swells, an adjustable AccuTrigger, a detachable box magazine (4-round), and an enhanced bolt-handle design. The rifle is built to be field-ready for hunting and range use, with a 20" barrel (25-06 Rem model), threaded muzzle (5/8x24), and a detachable magazine.
