The Ruger American Rifle Generation II Predator is a bolt-action centerfire rifle configured for precision hunting and varmint/predator work. Generation II Predator models feature a spiral-fluted, free-floated barrel with a factory-installed radial muzzle brake and a one-piece Picatinny scope base for direct optics mounting. The rifle uses Ruger’s Marksman® Adjustable trigger and a three-position tang safety that locks the bolt.
Generation II improvements include a stainless-steel bolt body, a threaded, Cerakote-finished barreled action, and an ergonomic, adjustable stock with a removable comb riser and length-of-pull spacer for improved cheek weld and fit. The Predator configuration is offered with AICS-style detachable magazine compatibility on applicable models and is intended for hunting and precision shooting applications.
