Ruger American Rifle Generation II (Standard) is a bolt-action centerfire rifle featuring Ruger's three-position tang safety, a one-piece Picatinny scope base, and the user-adjustable Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger. The stock includes a removable length-of-pull spacer and an interchangeable comb riser for fit adjustments.
This Standard Gen II configuration ships with a 20 in. spiral-fluted, cold-hammer-forged barrel and a factory-installed radial muzzle brake on a threaded muzzle (1/2"-28 for .223 Rem.). The barreled action is finished in Gun Metal Gray Cerakote and fitted to a textured gray-splatter synthetic stock. The .223 Rem. models accept a 10-round detachable magazine.
