Ruger American Rimfire Target model 8321 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 WMR with a 22in hammer-forged, target-crowned barrel and a satin-blued finish. The rifle ships with a black synthetic stock and a 9-round detachable rotary magazine, and has an overall length of 41in and a weight of 6 lbs.
Factory sights include a Williams fiber-optic front sight and a 10/22-style adjustable "V"-slot folding-leaf rear sight. The receiver is machined with a 3/8" rimfire scope base and is drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases for easy optics mounting. The rifle features the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger and the American Rimfire's integral Power Bedding system.
Operation features a 60° bolt throw, receiver-mounted bolt release and a two-position tang safety. The American Rimfire platform is offered in full-size (22in) and compact variants; model 8321 corresponds to the full-size .22 WMR Target configuration.
