The Ruger American Rimfire Model 8305 is a .22 LR bolt-action rifle finished in satin blued steel on a black synthetic stock. It ships with a detachable, flush-mounted BX-1 10-round rotary magazine and accepts Ruger 10/22 pattern magazines. The stock is ergonomic, lightweight synthetic with forend contouring and grip serrations, and the rifle includes two interchangeable stock modules to change comb height/length of pull for iron-sight or scope use.
Features verified on the factory spec sheet include Ruger’s Power Bedding® integral bedding block, the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger (user-adjustable 3–5 lb), a visible tang safety, sling swivel studs, and an overall 60° bolt throw with a receiver-mounted bolt release. The 18" cold hammer-forged barrel is factory-threaded (1/2"-28) with a factory thread protector and the receiver is machined with a 3/8" rimfire scope base and drilled & tapped for Weaver #12 bases. Iron sights are Williams fiber-optic front and an adjustable rear.
