The Glenfield Model A is a bolt-action centerfire rifle offered in popular hunting chamberings, including .308 Winchester. It ships with a textured Moss Green Splatter synthetic stock and a 20in cold hammer-forged barrel with a threaded 5/8x24 muzzle. The receiver comes factory-equipped with a one-piece Picatinny scope base (no iron sights).
Factory features include a user-adjustable trigger (3–5 lb. range), a one-piece three-lug bolt with a 70° throw, Ruger-style Power Bedding, a detachable box magazine (four-shot for .308), and a two-position tang safety. The Model A is marketed and built as an affordable American-made hunting rifle.
