The Mossberg Patriot is a bolt-action hunting rifle built on a twin-lug, push-feed machined-steel action with a spiral-fluted bolt and Mossberg’s user-adjustable LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger. This Cerakote Stainless variant pairs a free-floating, button-rifled 22 in fluted carbon-steel barrel (1:10" twist) with a synthetic classic-style stock.
The rifle feeds from a flush polymer box magazine (5 + 1 capacity) and ships with receiver-mounted Weaver-style scope bases and sling swivel studs for optics and carry. The Cerakote Stainless Patriot features a corrosion-resistant Cerakote finish on the barrel and bolt and includes a threaded muzzle with protective cap on Cerakote-threaded variants.
Textured stippling on the grip and three sides of the forend provides a secure hold in adverse conditions. The Patriot line is marketed primarily as a hunting rifle while select configurations (e.g., Night Train / long-range packages) also serve sport/long-range shooting applications.
