The Mossberg Patriot scoped combo (model 27883) is a traditionally-styled bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .270 Winchester with a 22 in fluted, free-floating barrel and matte blue metal finish. It ships as a scoped package with a factory-mounted 3-9x40mm variable scope and receiver-mounted Weaver-style bases.
Built on Mossberg’s twin-lug, push-feed action, the Patriot features the LBA™ user-adjustable trigger, a spiral-fluted bolt, and a lightweight polymer flush box magazine with a 5+1 total capacity. The walnut classic-style stock provides traditional aesthetics and Mossberg’s standard sling swivel studs. The long-action Patriot long-action configuration (including .270 Win) has an overall length of 42 3/4 in and an approximate weight of 6.5 lb.
