The Mossberg Patriot Walnut is a classically styled bolt-action hunting rifle built on Mossberg's twin-lug push-feed action. This Walnut model is chambered in 6.5 PRC and ships with a fluted, threaded 24 in barrel finished in matte blue. The rifle uses a drop-box magazine and features a spiral-fluted bolt with a streamlined, checkered bolt handle and Mossberg’s LBA user-adjustable trigger (2 to 7 lbs).
Factory features include receiver-mounted Weaver-style scope bases, a recessed match crown, sling swivel studs and a classic walnut stock. Specifications for the 6.5 PRC Walnut model (item #28236) list a 4+1 capacity, 1:8" twist rate, overall length of 44.25 in and an approximate weight of 7 lbs.
