The Mossberg Patriot Cerakote (model 28008) is a short-action bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It ships with a free-floating, 22 in fluted carbon-steel barrel finished in Cerakote Stainless, spiral-fluted bolt, receiver-mounted Weaver-style scope bases, and Mossberg’s user-adjustable Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger. The rifle is fed from a flush polymer box magazine with a 5+1 capacity.
Housed in a weather-resistant black synthetic Patriot stock with textured stippling on the grip and forend, the rifle includes sling swivel studs and a black rubber recoil pad.
