Very nice Izhevsk-produced Mosin-Nagant M38 carbine chambered in 7.62x54R. Appears to have all matching numbers including numbers on the receiver, bolt, magazine floorplate, and butt plate. Bore is very good with some slight roughness toward the chamber end and has been counter-bored. Comes with cleaning rod. Import marked. Compact configuration with the shorter carbine-length barrel and typical Mosin bolt-action reliability. A desirable collectible Mosin variant for WWII/Cold War-era enthusiasts and a handy range rifle in a classic military cartridge.
