Mauser 7mm magnum

A circa 1970 rifle that was manufactured in Sweden for Mauser Werke A. G. in Oberndorf Austria and imported to the USA by Mauser-Bauer, Michigan, a subsidiary of Mauser Wereke A. G. This rifle has a high grade walnut stock with basket weave checkering, a raised Monte Carlo comb with a cheek pad, engraved floor plate, a rosewood cap on the for-end and grip cap with ivory diamond inlay and a factory Mauser recoil pad. The rifle appears to be unfired, though at this vintage certainty is impossible. Inspection of the barrel interior/exterior, magazine and bolt all support this finding. I have included detailed photographs of the riffle and its components. Barrel and receiver show matching serial numbers. The stock shows handling marks and a few small scratches. If this gun was ever fired, I love to know what it was cleaned with.
