The Glenfield Model A is a bolt-action hunting rifle built on a Ruger American Gen I–inspired action and fitted with a textured Moss Green Splatter synthetic stock and matte-black metal finish. This configuration is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20in cold hammer-forged, threaded barrel and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base for optics mounting. Factory features verified for the Model A include a one-piece, three-lug bolt with a 70° throw, an adjustable trigger user-settable between 3–5 lb, an integral Power Bedding bedding block, a detachable flush-fit magazine (caliber-dependent capacity), a two-position tang safety, sling swivel studs and a threaded muzzle (5/8-24 for the listed centerfire calibers).
