The CZ 600+ ALPHA is a durable, fiber-reinforced polymer-stocked centrefire bolt-action rifle built for everyday use. It features a semi-heavy cold hammer-forged barrel and a rugged aluminum receiver with an integrated Weaver rail for secure optic mounting. The design emphasizes serviceability with a user-interchangeable barrel system and a controlled-feed bolt with a short (60°) rotation.
Ergonomics and safety are addressed with CZ's patented silent ergonomic ambidextrous vertical (S.E.A.) safety and a user-adjustable single-stage trigger that offers four pull-weight settings. The rifle also uses a magazine-with-lock system that can be converted to a fixed-magazine mode for loading from the top of the receiver.
The muzzle is threaded for accessories (standard 5/8-24 thread on most calibers; 1/2-28 for .223 Rem.), and metal components receive CZ's deep nitriding (BobOx) anti-corrosion treatment. These features make the ALPHA suited to hunting and general-purpose shooting in adverse conditions.
