The CZ 457 Varmint is a heavy-barrel bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR with a 20.5 in heavy varmint-profile barrel and a 5-round removable magazine. It uses CZ's user-interchangeable barrel system and a 60° bolt throw with a single-stage, adjustable trigger.
The rifle ships in a Turkish walnut American-style varmint stock with an American comb and laser-cut stippling on the grip and forend. It has no factory iron sights and is fitted with an 11mm dovetail for optics mounting. The action and barrel receive a nitride treatment and the muzzle is plain (not threaded).
Factory features include a receiver-mounted push-to-fire tang safety and a weight of approximately 7.08 lbs. The 457 Varmint is marketed as a precision-oriented varmint/target platform suitable for scoped shooting and small-game/varmint work.
