The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle finished with Grade I black walnut furniture and a low-gloss satin stock. It features diamond-point checkering on the pistol grip and underside of the fore-end and a contoured finger groove on the fore-end for improved handling.
The X-Bolt 2 Hunter ships with a matte-blued sporter-weight barrel (barrel lengths vary by chambering), the DLX adjustable trigger (factory set at approximately 3.5 lb), Browning’s X-Lock 4-screw scope mounting system, a 3-lug bolt with short 60° lift, an Inflex recoil pad, and a rotary/detachable magazine system. The rifle is supplied without iron sights and the receiver is drilled and tapped for X-Lock scope bases.
