The Browning AB3 Composite Stalker is a bolt-action hunting rifle built around a free-floating, button-rifled barrel and a robust three-lug bolt with a short 60° lift. It uses a detachable box magazine and features a bolt lock override button that allows the bolt to be opened while the safety is on.
The rifle is fitted with a straight-comb composite stock with textured grip panels and an Inflex recoil pad. It ships without sights and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Standard (non-magnum) versions use a 22 in barrel (magnum chambers use a 26 in barrel); the detachable magazine holds four standard cartridges (three for belted magnums). The AB3 Composite Stalker was introduced at an MSRP of $599.99.
