The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed LR is a long-range bolt-action hunting rifle engineered for extended-range performance. The LR (Long Range) variant features the new Plus Magazine System for quicker magazine removal and increased cartridge capacity, an aluminum Picatinny rail for accessory mounting, and an extended bolt handle for smoother cycling and rapid follow-up shots. The rifle incorporates the X-Bolt 2 family updates including a reconfigured receiver and redesigned bolt for improved guidance and operation.
The X-Bolt 2 LR ships with Browning's Vari-Tech composite stock and the DLX trigger system introduced on the X-Bolt 2 platform, delivering an adjustable, user-tunable trigger feel and a stock that supports adjustability for shooter fit. The model is offered in magnum long-range chamberings, including 7mm PRC with a 24 in barrel option for optimized long-range ballistics.
