The X-Bolt is Browning’s bolt-action rifle family built around a three-lug bolt with a short 60° lift and an adjustable Feather trigger. The design uses Browning’s X-Lock scope mounting/bedding features and a detachable box magazine on production models. Many X-Bolt long-range variants incorporate features for precision shooting such as fluted or heavy sporter barrels, removable muzzle brakes with suppressor-ready threads (thread protector included on models so equipped), and adjustable stock fit systems on selected Max/Long Range configurations.
