Seller Description
This is a Thompson/Center Contender from the 1980s, the frame was purchased in December 1988. The frame has a serial number of 324XXX and its hammer is of the “external manual firing pin selector” type. The included barrels are a .22 Hornet (10”) with an attached Leupold 2X scope with Butler Creek scope caps (scope serial number T164XXX), a .35 Rem “Super 14” 14” barrel with Leupold mount and rings, a .44 Magnum 10” barrel with iron sights and a .44 Magnum Hotshot 10” barrel that is ribbed with iron sights and a removable choke. There is a choke key, manual and misc. iron sights, screws, pins, etc. included that are not shown in the picture. My gunsmith says these are “set up like the guys like them” with extended eye relief Leupold scope.
These come from my father’s estate. I am focusing on my handguns and rifles and don’t see a future use of these for me. These guns have not seen a lot of rounds and the finishes are very good, showing wear that one might expect from light use over 20+ years.
