Full-size Smith & Wesson M&P22 chambered in .22 LR. Features a 4.1 in (10.4 cm) barrel, metal frame with an aluminum-aerospace alloy slide, and a black finish. Overall length is 7.6 in (19.3 cm) and the unloaded weight is 24.0 oz (680.4 g).
Features include an internal hammer (single-action) operation, ambidextrous manual safety, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, a magazine safety, and a Picatinny-style accessory rail. The CA-compliant 122002 variant is configured with a non-threaded barrel and ships with reduced-capacity magazines (10+1 rounds).
Made for recreational and target use, the M&P22 full-size models in the M&P22 family were produced for Smith & Wesson by Walther in Germany.
