The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is a full-size, gas-operated, internal-hammer pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm. It features a 5.0 in barrel, a Tempo™ barrel system and ships optics-ready with an 8.5 in overall length and a 22+1 capacity (two 22-round magazines included with standard pistol configurations).
Designed as a high-capacity, low-recoil platform, the M&P 5.7 has a slim textured polymer grip, a flat-face trigger, forward slide serrations and a Picatinny-style equipment rail. The pistol is made in the United States and is offered in factory configurations that are optics-ready and intended for defensive carry and sport/competition shooting.
