Take down can be accomplished in under 10 seconds via a simple lever mounted in front of the trigger. The mag release is located in the European position at the heel of the butt. The only other controls are Sig's trademark quick-swipe decocker mounted in its classic Sig position on the left of the frame just behind the trigger.
