The Ruger LCP is a subcompact, ultra-lightweight pocket pistol chambered in .380 ACP designed for concealed carry and backup use. It ships with one magazine, an instruction manual, an external locking device and a soft case. Constructed with a high-performance, glass-filled nylon frame topped by a through-hardened blued steel slide, the LCP features a 2.75in barrel, overall length of 5.16in and a 6+1 round capacity. The pistol is hammer-fired, double-action-only and uses fixed sights integral to the slide.
