Manufacturer Description
The Beretta 92X Performance is a full-size, semiautomatic, short-recoil pistol chambered in 9x19 mm with a 4.9 in barrel and a 15-round removable magazine. It uses a cam-operated, tilting locking block locked-breech system and features a competition-tuned trigger with adjustable reset.
Factory features include a blade front sight with fiber-optic, a micro-metrical adjustable notched-bar rear sight, an accessory rail on the dust cover, ambidextrous thumb safeties and an automatic firing pin safety. The pistol is built on a high-resistance alloy/steel frame with a NISTAN (tin-nickel alloy) finish and has fully checkered front- and backstraps for positive grip.
The 92X Performance is offered in production/production-optic and defensive configurations and is qualified for competition use (IPSC/USPSA for Production/Production Optic; IDPA for the Defensive model). It is designed for competition and defensive applications and features a heavier steel frame for added stability during firing.
