This Webley Mark VI is a WWI revolverhat was made in 1917. It has the Original finish and unbroken grips. All of the stampings are clear and sharp with about 65% blueing. This revolver has a 6" barrel and was onverted to use moon clips so it could fire the .45 AR or the .45 ACP using either the half-moon, full-moon or the third-moon clips. The bore is clean and sharp. The double action pull is about tweleve pounds bouth feel lighter with the broad smooth trigger, The singile action is crisp an clean. the foxed shoot to point of aim with heaveier bulletd and slightly lower with 230 gr.ullets. This is the last of the heavy-open revolvers even the British did use the lighter .38 S&W revolvers later is the 20th Century. Yes a ,455 Would be moredesireable and more expensive
