Seller Description
ca. 1939 Walther PPk s/n 1005686 $2650.
Original and unaltered. Rare 7-digit "Million Range" serial number variation. Matching serial numbered slide with the last three digits of the serial number scribed inside, across from the ejection port.. Walther PP and PPk pistols shared a common serial range until ca. 1939. Walther reached the 1 million serial range in the PPk model and quickly discontinued using 7 digits. They opted to split the PP and PPk serial ranges, go back to a 6-digit serial number and add a P suffix for the PP and a K suffix for the PPk. It is estimated that there were only about 6000 million range PPk pistols pistols produced. Rare and very difficult to upgrade.
