Walther P38 semi-automatic pistol 9mm - GERMAN POLICE GUN with holster

We are offering for sale a Walther P38 Commercial Pistol chambered in 9mm caliber. I believe this may have been a German Police trade-in as indicated by the “X” over the “BWI” mark on the right side of the frame. This pistol as manufactured post WWII in 1969 as indicated by the “4/69” marking on the right side of the slide. 5” barrel is excellent with strong rifling. Barrel is parkerized with a very good finish. Aluminum frame is very good with light wear; paint loss. Semi-auto function works flawlessly. Plastic grip plates show light surface wear; scratches. Frame and slide serial numbers match; Magazine is marked “P1 9mm” and has a different serial number.
