WWI WW1 US Army 1911 Colt .45 ACP Made In 1918

This is a take home from WW1 and if it could tell some stories I am sure they would be interesting. From an gentleman's estate the pistol comes complete with the original two tone magazine and holster. You can see from the pictures that most of the finish has worn off from honest wear and duty. I did run a about 16 rounds through it and it is accurate and it did not jam. It functions flawlessly. The slide is not sloppy and trigger pull is very smooth. It is marked United States Property and the S/N is 514218. A very nice piece of US Military history.
